Nourishing Vitality Tea

A Deeply Nourishing Herbal Tea for Stress Support, Minerals & Daily Restoration

There are seasons in life when nourishment needs to go deeper, especially in today’s world. This is where nourishing vitality tea was created.

Not simply energy from caffeine or quick fixes, but true replenishment — the kind that supports the nervous system, restores depleted reserves, and invites the body to slow down and rebuild.

This Nourishing Vitality Tea became one of those blends in our home. I formulated this recipe for my husband while he was working in the oil-fields. Long days, not enough sleep, working 2-weeks straight at a time. He had a high stress position and was depleted. This blend was created to deeply nourish and support the body during long seasons of stress, depletion, exhaustion, and overwork.

Created with mineral-rich herbs, calming nervines, gentle adaptogens, and warming digestive support, this tea is designed to feel grounding, restorative, and deeply comforting.

It has become a favorite for slow mornings, evening wind downs, stressful seasons, recovery periods, and daily nourishment.

Unlike many wellness teas that feel overly medicinal or stimulating, this blend is intentionally balanced to feel soft, drinkable, and sustainable for everyday life.

  • Makes approximately 2–3 cups dry blend
  • 1/2 cup oat straw
  • 1/2 cup milky oat tops
  • 1/4 cup nettle leaf
  • 1/4 cup tulsi holy basil
  • 1/4 cup lemon balm
  • 2 tbsp marshmallow root
  • 2 tbsp ginger root
  • 2 tbsp rose hips
  • 1 tbsp fennel seed
  • 1 tbsp lemongrass

  • 1 tbsp Shatavari root (hormone support)
  • 1 tbsp Turmeric root (anti-inflammatory support)

Method

  1. Preparation & Brewing Instructions

Mix herbs thoroughly in a large bowl until evenly combined.
Because loose herbs can become dusty during blending, it is recommended to wear a dust mask while mixing large batches.
Store finished tea blends in an airtight glass container away from direct sunlight, heat, and moisture to help preserve freshness, aroma, and potency.
To prepare tea:Scoop out the desired amount of tea depending on your preferred brewing method.

    Single Cup

Add 1–2 teaspoons of tea blend to 8–10 oz hot water.

    Teapot or Larger Batch

Use approximately 1 tablespoon of tea per 2 cups of water.
These blends can be prepared in a tea kettle, teapot, or small saucepan, though a cast iron pot is especially wonderful for creating a deeper, slower infusion.
Pour water just below boiling over herbs and cover while steeping to help retain beneficial aromatic compounds and essential oils.
For maximum herbal extraction and deeper nourishment, allow tea to steep for a full 20 minutes before straining.
Root-heavy or adaptogenic blends may also be gently simmered for 5–10 minutes prior to steeping for a richer infusion.
Enjoy warm, or allow to cool and serve over ice.
    Optional additions:
    raw honey
    stevia
    coconut sugar
    monk fruit extract
    fresh lemon or orange slices
splash of oat milk or coconut milk
For best flavor and potency, enjoy tea blends within 6–12 months.
