Preparation & Brewing Instructions
Mix herbs thoroughly in a large bowl until evenly combined.Because loose herbs can become dusty during blending, it is recommended to wear a dust mask while mixing large batches.Store finished tea blends in an airtight glass container away from direct sunlight, heat, and moisture to help preserve freshness, aroma, and potency. To prepare tea:Scoop out the desired amount of tea depending on your preferred brewing method.Single Cup
Add 1–2 teaspoons of tea blend to 8–10 oz hot water.Teapot or Larger Batch
Use approximately 1 tablespoon of tea per 2 cups of water. These blends can be prepared in a tea kettle, teapot, or small saucepan, though a cast iron pot is especially wonderful for creating a deeper, slower infusion.Pour water just below boiling over herbs and cover while steeping to help retain beneficial aromatic compounds and essential oils. For maximum herbal extraction and deeper nourishment, allow tea to steep for a full 20 minutes before straining.Root-heavy or adaptogenic blends may also be gently simmered for 5–10 minutes prior to steeping for a richer infusion.Enjoy warm, or allow to cool and serve over ice.Optional additions:raw honeysteviacoconut sugarmonk fruit extractfresh lemon or orange slicessplash of oat milk or coconut milkFor best flavor and potency, enjoy tea blends within 6–12 months.
