- Mix Wet
- Whisk/mix butter + coconut sugar well (slightly glossy)
- Add eggs, yogurt, vanilla → mix until smooth
- Combine dry ingredients in a separate bowl
- Add Dry ingredients to wet ingredients
- Mix until just combined
- Fold in chocolate
- Chill Dough (CRITICAL)
- 👉 1–2 hours
- This gives:
- ✔ thicker cookies
- ✔ better flavor
- ✔ less spread
- Scoop Large Dough Balls
- 👉 Approx. 3 tbsp per cookie. Tip: Use a cookie scoop to portion the dough evenly.
- Don’t make them small—this is key.
- Bake
- 375°F
- Bake 9–11 minutes
- At minute 7–8:
- 👉 gently tap pan on rack
- (This creates ripples 👈 bakery trick)
- Finish (DON’T SKIP)
- Immediately after baking:
- press extra chocolate on top
- optional: light flaky salt
- Cool
- Let sit on pan 10–15 min
Notes
Remove from oven when edges are golden and centers are still soft.
Immediately after removing from oven, add extra chocolate on top and sprinkle flaky salt (optional).
